Software Engineer

 

We are looking for an engaged and talented Software Engineers to join us in the development of our next generation processing and visualization software for medical images. Being part of the application development team you will work with advanced 3D imagee processing, visualization, quantification and reporting.

 

As a qualified candidate you will demonstrate strong problem solving and coding skills as well as solid debugging and testing skills. You are; passionate about medical imaging and associated technology, excellent in cross group communication, self-motivated, self-directed and able to work constructively with a wide variety of personalities. You should be comfortable working with an internationally distributed team in a regulated software development environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development process, including requirements definition, analysis and design, implementation and debugging, unit testing and developer verification.

• Determine user requirements and specifications and plan for software development within the broader organizational scope.

• Help determine technical approaches using best practices.

•Generate and maintain software documentation required for the project according to the Company’s policies and procedures.

• Analyze and solve diverse challanges within the context of an existing architecture.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience using C++ is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Development Environments, Debugging Tools and Test Management required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DICOM is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Image Processing.

• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming and system design.

• Knowledge of medical devices or medical software is preferred.

• Knowledge of data properties from SPECT, PET and CT scanners and their use in oncology and radiology preferred.

• Knowledge of Qt preferred.

• Knowledge of ITK, VTK or similar image processing and graphics libraries preferred.

• Knowledge of software lifecycle processes or other highly regulated environment is preferred.

• Knowledge of Build Management preferred.

• Smart creative and a life-long learner.

• Good written and oral communication skills in English are expected.

Software Developer / User Experience Engineer

As User Experience Designer, you will be responsible to define and create a coherent visual and interactive user experience for our medical applications. You will design complex, data-rich and visualization driven interfaces that support the medical workflows of our customers. You should have excellent communication skills, be open to receiving feedback from customers and able to analyze requirements, provide UI solutions and clearly explain the reason behind the taken design choices.

 

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development process, including requirements definition, analysis and design, implementation and debugging, unit testing and developer verification. 

• Determine and communicate user requirements and informed feedback on usability with the software developer group and with management.

• Plan, coordinate and manage overall field and usability tests

• Provide a final test report to project team.

• Help determine technical approaches using best practices.

• Analyze customer product issues within released applications and follow up with developers to get it resolved.

• Generate and maintain software documentation required for the project according to the Company’s policies and procedures.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Usability Engineering.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Devices or Medical Software required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Development Environments and Test Management required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience using C++ is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Qt GUI development.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Software Lifecycle Processes in a Medical Device Software or other highly regulated environment is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of User Interface Design, Usability Engineering and User Experience required.

• Knowledge of data properties from PET and CT scanners and their use in oncology and radiology preferred.

• Smart creative and a life-long learner.

• Good written and oral communication skills in English are expected.
