patient’s healthy tissue. Each patient responds differently to treatment and serial radionuclide imaging
provide patient specific information about the individual nuclide kinetics in tumors and normal organs to
an administered dose. This information allows the physician to optimally tailor further doses to the patient.
This provides the best outcome for the patient and reduces costs incurred by inappropriate treatment.

HERMES Medical Solutions (HERMES) by Sofia Bertling COO and Vanderbilt University (Vanderbilt) by Professor Michael Stabin announced today the signature of an exclusive license and commercialization agreement for the new dosimetry application OLINDA / EXM® to be distributed by HERMES. 
The OLINDA / EXM® application is widely used in the radiopharmaceutical industry and research community for internal dose calculations of radiopharmaceuticals. The new version has been enhanced and includes new human models and nuclides. 
HERMES will continue the development, regulatory, manufacturing and commercial leadership of OLINDA / EXM®.
“OLINDA / EXM® is in line with HERMES focus on individualized treatment
planning and will facilitate patient dose decisions”, says Sofia Bertling, COO at HERMES and Professor Michael Stabin.

Dr. William C. Lavely, known as Rusty to most, has joined the company as its new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr Lavely completed a Cancer Imaging Research Fellowship at Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigations,
completed a Nuclear Medicine residency and PET/CT fellowship at John Hopkins Medical Institutes and was a private practice Nuclear Medicine physician for the past seven years.

Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Dismed will have the rights to market the broad range of Hermes Medical Solutions products in molecular imaging as processing, display and PACS solutions.
